What does “Unitiative” mean?
The word “Unitiative” is a word we invented. It’s a shortening of the phrase “unity initiative”, which reflects our intent to foster unity and fellowship within the youth of New England.
What is the Unitiative?
The Unitiative is a series of meetings designed to help youth to be “in one accord and one place” as the disciples of Jesus were in Acts 2:1. We believe that unity among young people in the church will be a key to revival. But unity does not come naturally, so meetings like these are necessary
Who controls the Unitiative?
Control is a strong word. We coordinate meetings with local youth leaders and pastors, help facilitate the meetings, and maintain the website. The future is in your hands as a meeting participant.
Who is invited to attend?
A Unitiative meeting can take place when 2-4 youth leaders agree on a date, time and place to hold the meeting. If you are connected with one the groups involved, you are the focus of the meeting, and we hope you will attend it. If you are not connected to any of the groups in the meeting, please ask your youth leader or pastor to contact us about holding a meeting with your youth group.
When will meetings be held?
Meetings will be held according to the schedule of the youth groups involved. There is not a set meeting time or interval. If none of the future meetings listed on the website fit your schedule, please ask your youth leader or pastor to contact us about holding a meeting with your youth group.
Can I join the Unitiative?
Yes! You can join us in prayer and fellowship at one of the Unitiative meetings. It’s not a club or a society – there are no secret handshakes or memberships to be had. Everyone can be part of the Unitiative.

This is great; I too believe that unity among young people in the church will be a key to revival. This is exciting! I'm anticipating great and awesome acts from the hand of God backing up your prayers using the Youth of New England.
